Dear all,

It feels very strange to read about your memories regarding Dan Air. I was just a little nipper when my father flew the comets and 1-11 but it brings it all back.

I was wondering if at all anybody out there has any information, Photographs, stories etc with reference to my father Capt Nick Coates, he was based at LGW around 1970 onwards. My mother Mrs Dorothy Rainey also used to Fly for Dan Dare as cabin Crew and any information about either of them would be of great value.

I am constructing a "this is your life style book" to present to him on his 60th birthday and of course the funnier the story the better.
